Dr.Alanood Ahmed Asiri

Dr. Asiri is an Endocrinology fellow and a member of our research team. In the summer of 2020, when Dexamethasone was introduced in the management of Covid respiratory illness, Dr. AlSofiani and Dr. Asiri developed a protocol to guide physicians on treating dexamethasone-induced hyperglycemia in Covid-19 patients. Since then, Dr. Asiri has joined two other projects of the team and has gained three research awards during her internal medicine residency training at King Khaled University Hospital. She is currently the chief fellow of Endocrinology at our establishment and is interested in research and healthcare technology.
